Good fun and really mayhem at later levels! I found that my balls would get stuck in the corners if they were in just the right place when the levels reset. The fix for this (the three times it happened) was to create another purple ball, but at some point it's not going to work. They would be stuck there, level after level until making the new purple ball.
Okay, weirdness. I had 5 balls stuck in corners and a few levels later they freed themselves on level reset. I wonder if it's a resolution thing, Firefox under Win10, 1366x768 resolution.
Hello! Ouroborb dev here, I am currently working on fixing the pinning issues or balls getting stuck on corners, I will reply back when I have! Thanks for your feedback!
I think I won? xD
Description claims “Progress through three unique areas, unlocking new rewards, more balls, and increasingly chaotic gameplay.” but I haven’t seen any ‘new areas’ to explore.
I did manage to earn a trillion dollars though, and I got all upgrades, so that’s something lol.
Side notes:
Hello! Congrats on a trillion! That is one of the current "milestones" of the game, although the main way to beat it is to gain all the upgrades.
You're right on the three areas; they are planned but haven't been implemented yet. A prestige system, multiple areas, achievements, and much more are coming in the future (it will take me a little, but be excited).
Right now, my main focus is on fixing current bugs like the performance issues and the ball pinning right now so it won't slow down dramatically.
Thanks for playing my game a ton and leaving lots of feedback! Be excited for what's to come!
A few minutes into the update, the ‘pinning’ issue is still present. Other than that, so far I’m quite satisfied with the latest update(s). Will report on further issues if needed.
EDIT: Screenshot of a pinned purple ball…
EDIT2: Just saw a purple pinned in the top corner which gives me an idea as to what may be causing it… I believe the problem happens when the ball is moving towards a wall and on the next frame its position would place part of the ball outside of the play area. Mostly a guess based on limited information, but I hope it helps you find the cause of the bug. (This time there were no blocks nearby when it got stuck, it was just in the corner)
EDIT3: This purple simply lives in the corner now. Does not attempt to move from that spot lol.
Hello! Ouroborb dev here, I am currently working on fixing the pinning issues, I will reply back when I have! Thanks for your feedback!
Balls keep getting stuck on the edge of the play area, and if the last block of the play around is ‘pinning’ them when the new blocks spawn, the old balls just vanish. I just went down from 6 purples to 3, quite literally cutting my power in half.
The bottom row of upgrades’ tooltips are partially off screen and the price cannot be read.
The game seems to be trying to skip frames while rendering with the upgrades open, which makes the game feel like it’s lagging.
Scientific notation would be appreciated (this would necessitate changing the top counter to match, when scientific notation is enabled)
When the upgrades menu is open, please disable the Menu button (top right) I accidentally restarted earlier and it was annoying. When this happened, the price of purchasing balls did not reset, so I had to refresh the entire page to fix it (thankfully, I only had spent about 10 minutes playing at that point, so I wasn’t losing that much progress)
Some of the upgrades remain completely dim even when they are affordable. This can make it extremely difficult to read the price.
Various collision issues, including but not limited to the blue and/or purple balls sometimes dealing damage but not updating their trajectory (so they effectively ‘plow through’ the blocks) which can result in unintended gains. This one is pretty rare, and happens significantly more frequently when the damage per hit (for balls) is equal to or higher than the health of the blocks.
Please add a stats screen of some kind, even if it’s just on the side of the upgrades menu or something. Knowing the base values and what is impacting them would be a very nice addition and would be greatly appreciated.
I think that’s about it for my first hour of gameplay. I’ll be following and looking forward to updates. :)
EDIT: Please add commas to the counter at the top of the screen. Thanks in advance.
WOAH! Thanks for all that feedback! I have implemented most of your requests and will be working on the stat screen for a future upgrade and the scientific notation later down the line. Once again thanks for commenting and letting me know :)

uhh... all my balls disappeared is that supposed to happen?
No, that isn't supposed to happen. Could you describe what happened exactly?
Adding commas or something to the number formatting would help with readability. It would also be nice to make affordable and fully bought upgrades look different.
Noted. Implemented both features into the game. Thanks for your feedback!
I'm afraid it freezes in the Webversion with sufficient balls in play....
it especially lags up and near freezes with the shop open with what i believe i have is 10-13 purple balls in play, though i'm sure my limit is partially imposed my the fact i'm running this on my old laptop i used for school in 2020
Hello, Ouroborb dev here. Thanks for playing and commenting on my game! I'm hard at work replaying and fixing itch.io-related bugs that have come up. I fixed various memory leaks and added object pooling for when there are many balls on screen, and so far that has stopped all crashes and major lag. Thanks again for reporting it and helping make the game better—I really appreciate the feedback!
